Join our team and help add tomorrows not only for me but for those who join me in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis!
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for them. All we need you to do to become a member of our team is click on the "Join our Team" button. From there you can make a donation and start your fundraising. If you are unable to walk you can still join our team and raise money online or raise money in person asking for donations that you can upload later or send to me for me to talk to the walk this may!
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families. You can even bring your four legged friends to join the fun!
As someone directly effected by this disease I can tell you that these walks really do help!! I myself got to feel the direct benefit from research efforts by being able to start a new medicatiob called orakmbi last year and now I will be starting another new medication on the market! Research is killing it when it comes to the fight on Cystic Fibrosis and I want to keep that momentum going!! The foundation believes we are closer then ever to CURE Cystic Fibrosis! A statement that years ago I wouldn't much believe would be true!
So there you have it folks! All the information you need and proof that every penny does count to help add tomorrow’s! If not for your gracious donations in the past, Research may have not been able to reach as many milestones that they have! Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation are so much more then just dollars counted, it’s adding percentage onto someone’s lung function they thought they would never gain back, it’s giving the dedicated researchers more resources to get that much closer to a cure and most importantly its giving us Cf warriors more tomorrow’s because we value every breath we get and we don’t want to let Cystic Fibrosis win!
