About Us!

HRIT Dream Team is comprised of Walbridge/DIG Human Resources members Chris Collins, Leila Friedman, Randy Rosler, Audrey Richie, Charlotte Howell, Natalie Meagher, and Michelle Royer. Plus- Information Technology team members Philip John, Jackie Bettinger, and Brent Adams.

We are joining forces with Team Kayla (led by Jackie Bettinger) in the Great Strides Detroit CF Walk (virtually and in person)- to help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

Back Story - we are walking/raising money/awareness in Memory of Kayla Donielle Thompson (Jackie's niece) who lost her battle with CF on January 20, 2013 at the young age of 23!  Let's work together to help find a cure so no other family has to experience this loss.

Great Strides Story

Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who face the sobering prospect of a shortened lifespan. I walk for them.

Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
