Tegan's Story

Our sweet baby, Tegan, wasn't gaining weight like he was supposed to.  After so many blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds and appointments, we did a sweat test, figuring we would just rule out cystic fibrosis.  When the results came back positive, we were shocked.  It's been over 9 years since this diagnosis has turned our world upside down, but we are encouraged by all the progess that has been made in medical field over the past 30 years.  We're hoping we can help make a difference by supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and find a cure so Tegan can look forward to the kind of life we all usually take for granted.  

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.

Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease.
