My Great Strides Story
As most of you know by now, my daughter, Gracie, has CF. She is nineteen years old and has graduated Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy! Gracie had a rough time again last year. She has dealt with several severe medication reactions, a few of which landed her in the hospital; and needed to stop taking her medications, at the advice of doctors, for six months. Fortunately, Grace has gotten the green light to start tapering back on to her medications, as her doctor does believe this is the best thing for her. Most people don’t even notice when she is taking the pills! She also goes back to see her CF doctor, cardiologist and allergist every 6-8 weeks for lung function tests and to see if any changes are needed to her routine or medications. She will now need to add liver function testing to her list as well. Our Team “Gracie’s Group” will be walking in person on Sunday May 19th in Hingham this year. This years walk is special as it will be our 20th walk for our team and we will also top $125,000 raised! This would not have been possible without the support from people like you. Thank you!!! I would appreciate any donations (100% tax deductible) that you are able to make.
