It is that time fo year, the time when I reach out to all of you to share an update on Robbie and also ask for your support.
As many of you know Robbie has Cystic Fibrosis. A disease that dominates his daily routine but does not define who he is. Robbie is an amazing 14 year old teen who has faced more challenges in that short time than many will ever face in a lifetime. He is in his first year of high school this year! He loves movies, video games, tennis, traveling and hanging out with his friends. Cystic Fibrosis continues to present him with challenges - illness, fatigue, 3 hours a day of treatments and numerous medications. He continues to rise above these challenges with help of family and friends as well as an amazing group of caring and compassionate medical professionals at Connecticut Children's Hospital.
Despite the efforts of very passionate fundraisers and advocates there still is no cure. The yearly Great Strides walk is very important to Robbie. It is not only an event that raises money but it is a gesture that reminds him that there are caring and compassionate people that are fighting for him, his health and his future. Will you join me and my family? Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
