This year's Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk on May 11th holds a special place in our hearts as we come together to honor the memory of Kelley's cousin and Riley's Godfather, Brian Long. Brian bravely battled cystic fibrosis for 51 years before passing away last June.

Brian's life was a testament to courage, resilience, and compassion. Since his earliest years, his charming personality and unwavering determination made him a recognizable figure in the fight against cystic fibrosis. He dedicated himself to raising awareness and funds for the MA and RI chapters of the CF Foundation, helping to raise millions of dollars to combat this genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems.

Despite the challenges posed by his illness, Brian lived life to the fullest. In 2008, Brian underwent a double lung transplant, which gave him a new lease on life. He embraced this second chance with gusto, enjoying travel, yachting, and cherishing moments with his loved ones. He showed us all that even in the darkest of times, there is always room for laughter, love, dancing, good drinks, and belting out some disco tunes!

As we gather for the Great Strides Walk, we invite you to join Team #BLongStrong in honor of Brian's memory. Whether you walk alongside us or make a donation, your contribution will make a difference in the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis. Together, we can continue Brian's legacy of hope and resilience.
