Join our team and help add tomorrows!
We chose the team name Salty Cousins, for Kenny and Jasmine. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) hit our family hard nearly 25 years ago, when Kenny was diagnosed with a disease we had never before heard of. He was diagnosed at the tender age of eight.
Kenny is now 33. He is married and through the grace of God and modern medicine, he is the father of a healthy, and thriving 6 year old son. Kenny is an inspiration to every person living with CF, but he too, struggles just to breath.
Jasmine was only 6 months old when she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. She tries hard to be an active, healthy eighteen year old but the reality of life with CF means multiple days at a time in the hospital for Jasmine. In spite of the fact that Jasmine was hospitalized over a dozen times last year, she is a currently a dedicated freshman in college!
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for Kenny & Jasmine and for each and every person diagnosed with this suffocating disease. Will you join us? All we need you to do to become a member of our team is click on the "Join our Team" button. From there you can make a donation and start your fundraising.
By becoming a member of our team and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Together, we are adding tomorrows to the lives of people living with CF by supporting the search for a cure.
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
