Good morning, friends,
Most of you know my sister, Jessica, has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). In short, CF is a genetic disease that results in life-threatening lung infections and digestion problems. When Jessica was born we were told she likely would not reach age 8; but if she did, she had a 50% chance of living to 16.
The disease is still tagged as “incurable and fatal”; however, there is greater hope for a cure now than ever before. In fact, recently, a drug has been developed that that helps get rid of much of the mucus so it doesn’t build up and create a haven for deadly bacteria. While it only benefits patients with certain defective genes, this is a huge and exciting milestone. I truly believe we could see the cure for CF in the next few years.
Jessica is now 45 years old and the median predicted survival age is close to 40. Far surpassing her prognosis at birth, the progress we have seen over the years is remarkable!
Ultimately, of course, the thanks goes to our loving God; but, the earthly credit goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. CFF is at the top of the list of research foundations in terms of its success and efficiency with its money.
The current fund raising venue is called GREAT STRIDES, and I am asking you to consider contributing toward the cure through this campaign. Any amount will be much appreciated. You can make a secure donation by clicking the link below "Join our Team"

Thanks very much,
David
