From 2/23/23 through 4/14/23 I spent 27 days in a hospital bed
In February I caught a common cold virus that lead to two hospitalizations, a two day stint in the ICU, and over 4 weeks on antibiotics. The fight against CF looks different now with the development of modulator therapy like Trikafta but I’m still a part of the 10% of patients who do not benefit. This is why I need your help raising money for the CF Foundation - the worlds leader in funding research for Cystic Fibrosis treatments.
While admitted I’ve lost endurance and muscle and am still struggling with back pain from the chronic cough. I’ll be working over the next 5 weeks to be able to comfortably complete the NB Great Stride walk/run to help my body rebound from this last couple months.
As I get older it gets harder to bounce back, but I’m starting out small. Your donations and encouragement are so appreciated! <3
