I am walking virtually and raising money for my daughter, Tera, who was diagnosed with CF when she was born 40 years ago. I would love a cure for this terrible disease! I wil be doing a virtual walk this year for the South Texas CF chapter to help raise money for the area where Tera lives and her current wonderful CF team is located. All donations are greatly appreciated and go a long way in helping to fund treatments and medications that help further the lives of people with CF, including my daughter. Thank you!
Please help us make “CF” stand for “Cure Found!”
About CF: Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for my daughter and for all others affected by CF.
More than 10 million Americans are unknowing, symptomless carriers of a defective CF gene.
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. Will you join me? Please consider donating to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
