Walking for Walker James

 Last year on May 3rd, 2022, the sweetest most beautiful baby boy was born. A day later, our lives were turned upside down as we were rushed to the nearest NICU. Within the next couple weeks and months, our Walker James underwent two surgeries, and received a Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis that surprised us all, as we had no idea we had any family history. It has been a year full of worry and fear, but also a year full of overcoming obstacles, achieving goals, educating ourselves and others, and a year full of love and faith. Our goal is a cure, and with research we hope that is in the horizon.
