I am so honored to have Taylor Eubanks as my sorority big. Honestly, she was more like an actual big sister to me. She taught me real life lessons ranging in topics from how to brush my hair to what really matters most in life.
Taylor fought and WON her battle with Cystic Fibrosis. In March 2015, she finally got to experience what most of us take for granted: a full breath of air. In her 21 years of life on this earth she brought a lot of sunshine to a lot of people. She ALWAYS demanded to have equal expectations set for her and never used CF as an excuse. She would always say that she was lucky to have Cystic Fibrosis because it gave her so many opportunities that wouldn't have been possible.
In May of 2014, Taylor was blessed with a new pair of lungs. I was blessed with 10 more months with my sister and best friend. In her final months, Taylor participated in many new trials. These trials will hopefully allow others their 10 months (hopefully more). This is why I am walking and asking for your donation. I hope to give others the chances that we were so fortunate to have.
I will continue to walk on #TeamTay unitl there is nothing left to fight. Tomorrow is such a precious gift to hold on to and the CF Foundation (and myself) will keep fighting for those affected to have chance to experience it.
Until it's done,
