Dear Friends & Family,
On December 1, 2014, I was blessed with the birth of my grandson, Samuel John Sweeney. I was overjoyed and in seventh heaven when he was born. Shortly after his birth, Samuel was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Samuel is now 6 years old and he is a happy, funny and loving daredevil. Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening, genetic disease that affects every organ in the body and makes digestion & breathing difficult. While people with CF are living longer than in the past, we still lose precious young lives every day.
My family is dedicated to defeating this dreadful disease. Part of that effort is to participate in the Great Strides Walk. Great Strides is a 5k walk to raise awareness & money for the search to find a cure and improve the lives of those with CF. It happens May 15, 2021 and I plan to be there. As with everything else in these complicated times, it will be a virtual walk.
This is where you come in. I am hoping you will show your support by joining the walk or donating money to find a cure or both. To make a donation, click the donate button at the top of this page. Every dollar helps! There are buttons on the right side of this page that you can click to register for the walk or go to our team page. The name of our team is Samuel Strong. Join Our Team and help Add Tomorrows to Samuel's life and others suffering with this terrible disease!

Thank you so very much,
