There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. 

Mia was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as a newborn. Daily medication, treatments, X-rays, blood drawls and doctors appointments are the normal for her. Mia handles it like a champ, she's fiercely independent, strong, and doesn't let anything get her down. I came upon the phrase, dum spiro spero which translates to, while I breathe I hope. The phrase really struck my heart. I have such hope for Mia's future. I dream of all that she will become and experience.

Although there has been significant progress made there isn't a cure and too many lives are still cut short. Every donation will help fund research so someday CF stands for cure found.

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
