The 2024 Des Moines Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis walk is May 18. Tula’s Capes and Tiaras has been striding since 2011 to help add tomorrows for Tula and approximately 30,000 other Americans who live with cystic fibrosis, a rare life-shortening genetic disease affecting both her lungs and digestive system. Tula’s mother Ryann is the team captain of North Carolina Tula's Capes and Tiaras and her Aunt Kim is a board member and active participant in the Rocky Mountain CFF chapter.
Tula is in 8th grade and will be 14 on June 28. Her health has been very good, although she continues to struggle with digestive issues. The really good news is that Tula has a healthy appetite and has been able to maintain her weight without overnight tube feedings!
Iowa Tula’s Capes and Tiaras has raised over $50,000 over the last 13 years because of donors like YOU. We have really appreciated your past financial and/or prayerful support and hope you are able to support us again in 2024. YOUR dollars have enabled CF Foundation-supported research to help Tula and others add quality and length to their lives.
“Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.” (Emily Dickinson)
We look forward to a day when CFF stands for Cure Finally Found.
