Our nephew, Ethan has CF. He is now 19 and finishing his 1st year of college at Indiana University! When Ethan was first diagnosed there were 30,000 in the U.S. with CF. There are now 40,000. As well the median age was 32 when he was diagnosed and the new median age of survival for those with CF is now 56!!! Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. We will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
