Hello!

My name is Christen and I have a wonderful little nephew, Jude, that has been diagnosed with CF since he was born.  My sister-in-law and brother have done wonders for keeping up with the ends and outs of this disease.  There are so many things that they have to do daily, just to help him breathe more normal. From medicines, treatments, compressions, and lots more, they are always making sure our little guy is in tip-top shape! 

Being a teacher, I have also had a previous student that has battled CF as well.  When she was in my 4th grade class, I remember going to visit her during her stint in the hospital.  This disease and cause just hits home a little bit more!

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
