My daughter Alysandra was born and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. A genetic disease that affects her lungs and digestive system. She had surgery at 2 days old at Wesley. Everyday we have breathing treatments and chest therapy to do. Along with taking pills everytime she eats. Currently there is 30,000 in the US with this disease. But it's not enough people for the government to fund any research. So the CFF every year puts together a walk for us to raise money to find a cure. All proceeds go directly to the cff! Please help my baby one day breathe easy and not have to rely on a slew of pills just to live a "normal" life! Let's help her breathe easy! If you could donate my family and I would be so appreciative! A little or a lot it all counts! Please help make CF stand for Cure Found!
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
