As many of you know my daughter Lauren lost her battle in 2020. Born in 1988 with Cystic Fibrosis she fought many battles.Living with CF is a daily struggle; one takes many life saving medications and treatments just to get through the day.In 2016 due to the deadly effects of the disease on her lungs Lauren received a double lung transplant.Every day , even now I thank that donor and her family. They gave us more time with the previous gift of life.In 2018 another devestating hurdle came into her life; pancreatic cancer. After surgeries, chemo and radiation it had been gone. The solution started to damage kidneys but again she fought like a true warrior. 2020 we were told it returned and this time it spread and took her from us.This is why I and others want to find a cure. Nobody and no family should have their lives controlled by these illness.
