Greetings family and friends!

The 2024 Great Strides Walk to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is Sunday, May 19, check in 9am, walk starts 10am, at the Holtsville Wildlife and Ecology Center.

This will be Team Victoria's 16th year participating in Great Strides! 

Victoria had a great year maintaining her health and positive attitude, enjoying time with family, friends, and in school activities. In December 2019, Victoria started taking Trikafta - and the results have been amazing. She gained weight, no longer coughs unless she has a cold, and feels good overall. And although Victoria has also been challenged with CFRD (Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes) for over three years now, she rises to meet this challenge, and works hard to manage her blood sugars. 

All of the new drug therapies, research, and treatments in development are truly awesome, and this progress wouldn't be happening without your generous donations and support. But there are still members if the CF community who are not eligible to take a modulator like Trikafta - so let's not leave them behind. And let's continue to make Great Strides so we can ultimately make CF stand for "Cure Found.”
