Hey Amazing Family and Friends!!
This year, I again will be participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising walk, Great Strides on Sunday, May 15th. I am looking forward to making a team of all of my closest friends and family in the NY area who will be around to join and help me support the organization that helps fight the battles and come out the other side stronger. The walk and organization also depends on the donations of those who can not walk with us, and for any amount, small or large, I will be eternally grateful!
In addition, my CF warriors and team at Mount Sinai Beth Israel won back the golden sneaker last year! Meaning, we fundraised the most and are, well, the best. And we have no intention of losing that sneaker this year! There are some incredible scientific developments happening in the CF community these days, and my team of doctors and specuialists are heading some of the research and trials of many of these drugs that could literally save my life one day. While these advancements are incredible, it is the special sense of humanity and kindness that my team provides me that makes me so determined to fight. I think I take better care of myself to see the smiles on my doctors' and nurses' faces almost more than my own. Knowing I can have a 2am text conversation (this actually happened last time) or just text a picture of Cub to make them smile, I know that they are always there for me 1000%.
With all this said, I will ask again, Please support me and all other fighters by donating your time, support, social media influence or funds towards this great effort to combat CF and, here comes the cheesy line, make it finally stand for Cure Found! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!
Help me reach my fundraising goal by donating to my Great Strides fundraising campaign. Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting groundbreaking research and medical progress. Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
