My Great Strides Story
Our son Logan was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 weeks old. Cystic Fibrosis is a life threatening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with this disease today.
When CF was first identified in the 1940s, children were not expected to live to see their first birthdays. Since then, thanks to fundraisers like Great Strides, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress in developing more than a dozen CF treatments. These treatments tremendously help those with CF live longer and healthier lives than ever before. BUT these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
By becoming a member of our team "Love for Logan" and making a donation, you are helping in the efforts to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, and add tomorrows to the lives of people living with CF, like Logan.
Making a donation is easy and secure. Just click the link on the left under the photos that says, "Donate to a Team Member" to make a donation that will support our team. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated. Your support will help fuel lifesaving CF programs. Or, better yet, click on the link that says "Join Our Team" to drive your own fundraiser. If you would like to join our team on the day of the walk, we would love to have you!
