We will be participating in the annual CF walk for a cure Sunday 5/19/24. As many of you know our 21 year old son Jimmy has Cystic Fibrosis. This year has been particularly difficult for us, we found out that Since Jimmy's mutation is very rare he will not be able to benefit from any of the lung therapies/drugs and therefore we started the lung transplant process in January. Not to mention the hospital stays, numerous IV treatments and still no relief for Jimmy. The transplant process has been a very long and difficult process  but we are close to the finish line.  We are hoping in the next 6-8 weeks Jimmy will be registered on the lung transplant list and receive his lungs soon after that.
