We would love for you to join our team! Thanks for clicking on the link. The walk is at Schaumburg's Busse Woods and is now being called the "Northwest Suburban" walk location.
If you aren't available to walk Saturday, May 16h, please consider sponsoring one of our walkers by making a donation to their page. Every dollar gets us closer to a cure! No donation is too small.
The park and registration opens up at 10:30AM. Even if you already registered on-line, please come at this time to guarantee parking and enjoy the free give-aways like snacks, keychains, necklaces, etc. Kids love this aspect of the day.
At 12:00p.m. the Prospect Height's drum line kicks it off with a groovy drum cadence. After your stroll (or sprint) through the woods - a 3 to 5 mile journney- you are back to where you started and now there is a d.j. and LUNCH!
Bring your own water bottle. Wagons, bikes, strollers and scooters are allowed on the path too!
By becoming a member of our team, you are helping us raise money to improve and extend the lives of those affected by Cystic Fibrosis. 90% of the CF population can now take a drug that helps correct the underlying cause of CF!!! This is why we stride. We won't give up on the 10% who don't have a pill that helps them. We will keep striding... until it's done.
Thank you for supporting our annual Great Strides walk! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the difference you've already made in Joe's life.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, indoor events sponsored by the CF Foundation are strictly prohibited at this time. Scheduled outdoor events must adhere to strict requirements to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infection. Events may be subject to change at any time based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials.
