My Great Strides Story

Natalie, age 17, was born in 2006 and at four weeks old was diagnosed with CF. Natalie has been hospitalized 9 times and has had several nasal surgeries and had a g-tube placed right before her second birthday. 

In November 2019, Natalie was very fortunate and was able to start Trikafta and that was the turning point with her health. Knock on wood it has been 6 years since Natalie was hospitalized.   This drug truly changed her life! Since starting Trikafta, Natalie’s lung function is 121%, she has maintained her weight and she has literally been cough free for 6 years!! 

At her last CF appointment her doctor said that Natalie is her patient that she has seen the best results from Trikafta.  For that we are forever grateful. Drugs like Trikafta wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for people like you that mco tribute to the CFF. We are so very lucky to have a foundation that truly supports finding a cure and provides the money to continue researching to find more drugs like Trikafta. 

Thank you for being Crazy for Natalie. I know one day we will make CF stand for “Cure Found!”
