Kylie is a spunky, fun loving 8th grader this year! We can't believe how quickly she is growing up! Kylie started taking a drug called Trikafta almost 2 years ago that has changed her life. It has helped to get her lungs healthy and cough-free! It is truly a miracle, but it is not a cure.
Kylie continues to do her airway clearance every day and currently takes 4 nebulizer treatments each day. We hope eventually to lessen her treatments! Kylie continues to culture chronic staph in her lungs, but so far she has been able to get rid of the chronic pseudomonas since starting Trikafta! She is currently not using her feeding tube and is working hard to gain weight all on her own!
