For over 40 years our family has felt the impact of cystic fibrosis. We have suffered the pain of saying goodbye to Jeff after only 23 years. We have been enriched by the joy of his infectious laughter, and by the "moxey" he showed in his determination to survive. The love he shared with us lives on.
Jeff brought many special people into our lives. His friends, and his caregivers each brought special gifts to our family. Please consider honoring Jeff's memory by contributing to the CF Foundation to fund the research he believed in. Your donation honors our family's yesterday and brings hope and tomorrows to the approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk (virtually) for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
If you are struggling with this whole concept of social distancing, please keep in mind the CF patients who have been required to keep their social distance for years. The CF patients who most need the support of their peers can only communicate virtually with one another. The special camps, parties and physical support disappeared long ago, but the hope for a cure lives on.
Real progress has been for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Please consider making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
