Hi, my names Hannah and i'm 22 years old living with cystic fibrosis. I was diagnosed with cf at the age of 6 months old and since then we've been working our butts off trying to find a cure.
With my cf I also have cf related diabetes. It's like type 1 and type 2 together. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression since i was probably 8. I've had over a dozen sinus surgeries, xrays, ct scans, IV's, PICC lines, you name it. I once broke my skull in 2016 and that was pretty scary. My most recent surgery was on my hand for an infection.
My family is my biggest supporters. My brother is 28 and doesn't have cf. He's my best friend. He taught me how to play softball, to drive, and so many life lessons . My mom and dad have always supported me in everything I've done. I'm very blessed to have such an amazing family and that includes all my aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Despite my cf I do pretty much what any other person does. I graduated high school in 2018, i tried going to college but it was too hard on me, I have my drivers license, and I have 10 pets. I love photography, history, books, music, animals, and baseball/softball. You can ask me anything about cats, dogs, any animal and i can tell you whatever you want.
