Jeanette Yeager Kohlbrand

Look at that handsome guy on the left!  He’s my big brother, David Yeager, aka “Yegs”.  There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis, and he’s one of them. 

It’s been through generous donations from people like you, that have made it possible for David to reach the ripe ole age of 63!  He’s outlived his life expectancy about 4 times now.  But if I call him a miracle…., welp, there’s just no being in the same room with him. You know how siblings are, right?

Kidding aside, there's still no cure for this devastating disease, but real progress has been made for those who have CF.  David's been much of a Guinea pig his whole life, but he always knew it helped furthered the science to find better treatments, always with hopes for a cure.  

There’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure.
