Bradley was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 11 days old. After a very rocky start to our CF journey, he has rebounded remarkably well. While he is doing very well now, we know we have to continue to fight every single day. Unfortunately, Bradley's mutations are rare and he is in the unlucky 10 percent that doesn't currently have a modular to help him in his fight. Despite all the treatments, medications required daily to keep him as healthy as possible, he remains a happy, go lucky little boy that loves life and doesn't let anything stop him. He is truly a warrior and makes us proud every day!"
With supporters like you by our side, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to lead the way in the fight against CF, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease.
We walk in Great Strides for them.
