JW's quality of life is a result of advancement in drug therapies made possible by generous donations that fund extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Because JW is able to stay healthy, he is going to pre-school, learning to swim, and loving making friends. Without current and future therapies, our son would not be the happy, curious, and determined boy he is.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to lead the way in the fight against CF. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease.
We walk in Great Strides for them.
Great Strides is a fun event that provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together to make a difference in the lives of people with CF.
By donating and walking with us in Great Strides, you can help accelerate the Foundation's pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the needs of the CF community.
We are so grateful for our care team in Atlanta, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the endless support of family and friends. Together, let's make CF stand for Cure Found!
