I walk for for our daughter, Adalyn. She is sweet, spunky and just turned 11 years old. Adalyn loves tennis, roller skating, riding her bicycle, drawing and playing with her brother, Hunter. She is super smart, and going into all advanced classes for Middle School, next school year. Her favorite places are Disney World, the beach, and Olive Garden restaurant. Adalyn also has cystic fibrosis, and bravely tolerates her vest and nebulizer treatments every day to help loosen the thick and sticky mucus in her lungs. So far, she has been a very healthy and happy girl, with no hospitalizations. We are doing everything in our power to keep it that way. And so, every year we walk in Great Strides to help support Adalyn and the approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. I hope you will support me in my efforts.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
