Hi Everyone! I cannot believe it's 2022, where did 2021 go? I think we can safely say we are all hoping 2022 will be better, right? I am so honored that I had the opportunity to be a GA Chapter Ambassador for 2021. I'm looking forward to all the great things that we will do in 2022. First thing on the list...drum rolll...I'm excited to annouce we are moving Great Strides Middle GA back to the spring time and it will be IN PERSON. Can we say family reunion? Woot woot!! It will be on the morning of April 30th, at Amerson River Park in Macon GA and I would love to have you join The Salty Anchors. There are so many wonderful things happening in the world of CF. Trikafta continues to add tomorrows for so many lives. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for this therapy, as I have a rare mutation. The CF community is committed to finding treatments for all people living with CF. Lots of money is being distributed for research initiatives; check out cff.org to learn more. Thanks to the generosity of our family and friends, we have come so far. I would love for you to be with me on April 30th, so you can see the faces of all the lives that have been changed as a result of your contributions. If you can't be physically with me, please consider making a donation. Be on the look out for cake and casserole sales. If you want one, shoot me a message (Facebook or text). There was a time that I didn't think I would see a cure for CF in my lifetime. We are a community of believers and fighters and we will make CF stand for CURE FOUND because we are DRIVEN BY A DREAM. Thank you for your love and support. Sending Salty Hugs! Caroline
