Our son Michael was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 weeks old, he is now a happy, healthy 3.5 year old total boy. If you didn't know his diagnosis or see his daily therapies you would never know that he has Cystic Fibrosis. Michael has been blessed with another great year this year. He had a few more sicknesses than last year and Michael does about 3 hours of treatment every day. We want to raise money again this year for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. An amazing medication called Trikafta was released in 2019 for children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis and it's the closest thing we've seen to a cure so far and it's because of the money raised thru Great Strides. A large portion of the money we raise goes towards this research for new medications and one day a cure. If you can please donate to the link below. If you can't donate you can always join us for our walk this year. We would love to have you! There is absolutely no government funding for Cystic Fibrosis, all the money raised thru the foundation goes to finding a cure and helping individuals and families on a daily basis.

Until CF stands for Cure Found
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for my son, Alex, Landon, and all the others that have Cystic Fibrosis and hope you will support me in my efforts. Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
Real progress has been for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Please consider making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!

Foundation-Sponsored Indoor and Outdoor Events and Gatherings
The Foundation is closely following the evolving coronavirus outbreak. We will continue to monitor coronavirus guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and assess whether we need to change any scheduled events.
To reduce the risk of getting and spreading germs at CF Foundation-sponsored events, we ask that everyone follow basic best practices by regularly cleaning your hands with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand gel, covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your inner elbow, and maintaining a safe 6-foot distance from anyone with a cold or infection. Medical evidence shows that germs may spread among people with CF through direct and indirect contact, as well as through droplets that travel short distances when a person coughs or sneezes. These germs can lead to worsening symptoms and speed decline in lung function.
To further help reduce the risk of cross-infection, the Foundation's attendance policy recommends inviting only one person with CF to attend the indoor portion of a Foundation-sponsored event at a specific time. For the outdoor portion, the Foundation recommends that all people with CF maintain a safe 6-foot distance from each other at all times.
