Hello Friends and Family,

On Saturday, May 4th, my family and I will be walking on “Jimmy’s Team” at the Brevard Great Strides at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida. Check in is at 8 am, walk starts at 9 am. 

As many of you may know, my family has been personally affected by this disease. My son Jimmy passed away on July 23, 2011 and was battling Cystic Fibrosis his entire short life. He was only 15 years old. Living with Cystic Fibrosis is living a life of constant struggling each day to do something that many of us take for granted…. “Breathe”. Jimmy loved life and never thought Cystic Fibrosis would beat him but unfortunately it did. Cystic Fibrosis needs to be stopped and I need your help for that dream to come true.

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
