Jordan Bartucca was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 4. Throughout his life, he has courageously and quietly battled this disease, accepting the breathing treatments and medications he has to do every day and not making a big deal out of it - it's just something he has to do. We are grateful that Jordan is doing great and his numbers have improved in recent years, and the new medications released in the past few years have also made a huge difference. Since starting on Symdecko, Jordan's persistent cough is all but gone. He just got his first pack of Trikafta, the breakthrough therapy that is expected to change the lives of 90% of CF patients.
We are walking to remember Jordan's lifelong friend who recently passed away from CF complications and to help fight for those still battling, raising money to help the CF Foundation continue to fund drug research, clinical trials, advocacy, and support for those living with CF - and to make CF stand for Cure Found.
For too long, cystic fibrosis, a rare, genetic disease, has robbed people of tomorrows – progressively limiting their ability to breathe and tragically shortening life. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with CF. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease.
I walk for them. Will you join me and support my Great Strides fundraising goal?
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short.
By walking with me in Great Strides, you can help accelerate the Foundation’s pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the needs of the CF community.
Please support me!
Your participation will help us get one step closer to ending this terrible disease. Let’s make CF stand for Cure Found.
