All my Life, having Cystic Fiboris didn't mean much to me. All I knew was coughing all the time and going to the doctors every 3 months. I didnt care about doing my breathing treatments, or about taking my meds. But i now realize how absolutely HORRIBLE this disease is. I've now seen how it can affect my work, my social life, my everything. I have seen good people die because they just couldnt get their new lungs in time...and that is a devistating thing to see.
I've recently realized how lucky I actually am to be as healthy as I am with this disease. I am able to be working full time, have and fiance and get married, go out with friends and have a life that does not always include hospital stays. So all I ask is to help this cause for the people who cant have all those things. I want to be able to help find a cure for not just me, but everyone who suffers from CF. I want to be able to say that their is a cure and that its not just another terminal illness with no hope. There is alwasy hope!!
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
Please help me reach the cure for Cystic Fibrosis, not only for me, but for so many others who are way worse off than me! ANY LITTLE BIT HELPS!
