Dear family and friends, Our great strides walk to continue the fight against Cystic Fibrosis is approaching this May.
Weston has been able to take a drug that treats the underlying defect of CF because of your donations to research. Unfortunately, there was a time that this medication was negatively effecting his liver, and he had to go off of it. Currently he’s taking medication to counteract those effects, and it’s working. However, these meds are not a cure. There are also many people living with CF who this medication does not work for their mutations. We still need a cure, so we continue to fight.
Walking with Weston will be at our annual great strides walk on May 6th at Ocean Beach Park. We hope you can join us.
