Payton has been chosen to the be the 2023 Rocky Mountain Chapter Ambassador this year! What an honor!
This past year has been incredible. You want to know why? Because of YOU! You continue to support Payton year after year and all of our CF Warriors. Your donations, support, love, and prayers have opened the opportunity for GREAT STRIDES for this special community. Payton qualified to be a part of a study for a new Trikafta medication that is only taken once daily rather than twice a day. The name is long and difficult to pronounce so she likes to call it Trikafta 2.0. With the research, she endured a dilated vision exam, numerous EKGs, endless blood draws, multiple pulmonary function tests, a few sweat tests, and lots of down time with her mom in a small room at Children's Hospital. Her CF research coordinator, Dana, knew how to help Payton persevere with her thoughtful gifts and tasty treats!
We are truly blessed with our CF team and the medical care we receive here in Denver. Payton is thriving and turning heads everywhere she goes. The girl is intelligent, witty, loveable, caring, talented, and most of all ours! Payton loves to dance, sing, swim, draw, write, read, and play. She definitely knows how to keep the family busy with her tap dancing, choir, Junior Bronco Cheerleading, first year of wrestling, first year of basketball, guitar lessons, skiing, and her compassion to help animals. The most power decision she has made was on November 13th when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior! <3
We invite you to join our team for our 10th ANNIVERSARY year and enjoy the beautiful walk around Sloan's lake on May 13th. Payton will be speaking at the event, needless to say she is STOKED and would love to see you there!
Much love and cheers,
Chris, Brianne, Payton, and Lincoln
(also the four-legged kids - Huck, Rosie, Laina, and Charlie)
