Some of you might remember that last year I helped fundraise for Frankie, my friend Jaclyn's daughter who has cystic fibrosis (CF), a rare, genetic disease that limits her ability to breathe. Frankie receives treatment every day, a process that, when she is healthy, involves two daily 30 minute treatments of chest physiotherapy and 16 pills. Jaclyn is an incredible mother and takes everything in stride, but I know it is an ongoing challenge. While medical advances have extended the life expectancy for those with CF to around 40, there is still no cure.
There are TWO days remaining for the CF Foundation fundraiser this year. I would be so grateful for any donation you are able to make. If you're like me, you probably have greatly reduced your latte purchases this year - consider putting some of that unspent latte $ toward helping to find a cure for CF! Truly, any amount helps.
Your donation will help accelerate the Foundation's pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the needs of the CF community. All donations to my page on the link below will go directly to "House Tully" (Frankie's family's fundraising page). Thank you!! Sending lots of love to you and your loved ones.
