My Great Strides Story

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in Great Strides, I am helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.

I stride because not every patient with CF shares my story yet. My health was declining through college and graduate school, but when I started Trikafta, my life changed overnight and I have never looked back. Because of this miracle drug, I have been able to be confident in moving on my own to a new city, work a challenging full-time job I love, and live life to the absolute fullest without the fear of losing it all because of CF. We cannot stop making strides until every single CF patient has an effective medication, and eventually a cure.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
