Did you know there are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis?  Our son, Owen, is one of them.  Owen was diagnosed with CF at 10 days old.  Since then, he has been under the expert care of his team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  He remains a very active, imaginative, and creative boy. He is in eighth grade now--where did the time go?  He continues to play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse in the spring!  

As we have done for the past 13 years, our family has made a commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to walk in Great Strides.  Great Strides is the foundation's largest fundraiser nationwide.  We walk to help raise funds for the CFF to use toward their amazing efforts to find a cure. To date, Team Owen has raised over $250,000 for the CFF to use toward research and improving the lives of those with CF!

Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me?
