There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them.
Not only do I walk for them but for the man I love. Day in and day out I watch him push on and fight through each day and he does so with little to no complaints. I admire how strong he, and everyone who battles CF truly is. Everyday is a battle; some better than others, but everyday still waking up is a victory.
We have reached tremendous amounts of progress in the research and treatment fields but CF still doesn't have a cure. I will not quit until we can say with joy and excitement that CF stands for Cure Found.
