There are approximately 40,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. My son Matthew is one of them. I walk for him and the entire CF community. Matthew turned 31 years old in January this year, a milestone age I never thought he would. This year will be extra special for our family. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal in honor of these amazing milestones?
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We've come so far, but there's still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
Please support me! In 2022, Matthew married his beautiful wife, Alyssa. We never thought this would be possible. Together they share a life in DC and he is able to work full time for the Dept of Treasury. Matthew enjoys an active life- loves sports, cooking and travel. He is unbelievably diligent about taking care of himself and he is doing well. But there is still no cure and he is not eligible for the current treatments of modulators bc of his mutations. We have been in this fight for 31 years and incredible progress has been made- life expectancy is now 56, 60% of CF patients are now adults, there are 50 clinical trials taking place currently- all of this is possible bc of donations. Please consider supporting our work to help make CF stand for cure found!
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis and your support matters. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found. Please help me reach my fundraising goal!
