There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis, but only ONE of the them is our dear friend ELIZABETH REYNA!
Its hard to describe Liz to a group of people who don't know her because there is no way to give justice to the resilience and zeal with which she lives her life! Matt and I met Liz in New Orleans and became fast friends. Liz always says yes to an adventure and we have definitely had our share. We have spent countless days parading through the streets of New Orleans, going wherever our feet take us. We have travelled to Greece to explore archaeology, beaches, and, of course, food. Last year, we introduced Liz to our new home: we relaxed with the ponies on Chincoteague, took a sunset boat cruise, and brunched in Annapolis. This spring we will hike through the Shenandoah and explore Philly. In the fall, we will get our passports stamped in Mexico and bring our NOLA carnival skills to the Day of the Dead celebrations in Puerto Vallarta.
All of our adventures have been possible because of the money raised by the Cystic Fibrosis foundation. Progress has been made for those who have CF, and that progress is VERY REAL for Liz. With the recent release of the TriKafta drug, Liz 's health has increased dramatically!
WIll you join our fundrasing campaign so that more CFers can live as adventurously as Liz Reyna?
