Dear Friends & Family:
I have been committed for many years to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation which helps raise money to find a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF)—a life-threatening genetic disease. I made this commitment because my daughter, Kaelii, has cystic fibrosis and we are walking in her honor again this year to help find a cure.
Kaelii is now 29 years of age and loves teaching 2nd grade Magnet at Williamsport Elementary School. Kaelii is blessed to have a loving husband and loves being a mother to her sweet daughter, Nora Rose. Kaelii is driven to succeed in life and also maintain stability with her health at the same time. She continues to receive her care with the specialists at the Adult Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital. We are so grateful for her doctors, the many medications especially Trikafta and therapies she uses daily so she may accomplish her many hopes and dreams.
Our Great Strides Walk will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023. If you would like to donate please send a check payable to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to my address below (tax-deductible) or come walk with our team, Kaelii’s Crew. I will be grateful for any and all donations received after the walk as well. If you would like to make a donation online please use the link provided. Your generous gift is vital in supporting CF programs, research, care and education. Fundraisers like the Great Strides Walk raise the dollars necessary to fund life-saving research to cure CF and fund the landmark research that is making a tremendous difference in the lives of those with this disease.
On behalf of our entire family, we thank you in advance for your support and caring. Always remember, together we can make a difference. Every dollar raised helps brings us closer to finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for cystic fibrosis. With your help, we can give children and adults with CF the quality of life and the future they deserve. We are so grateful for her doctors, the many medications and therapies she uses daily so she may accomplish her many hopes and dreams. Please keep Kaelii in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to deal daily with her disease.
