Dear friends and relatives,
The following is another update on my niece Catilin and her family. As you can see in a most recent photo, all are doing very well. Liam is a rambunctious 3 yr old, who loves Sesame Street. His 18 month old sister loves music, dancing, and Elmo. Both attend local daycare while mom and dad have busy careers. Because of donations from people like you, this family is able to live a normal, engaging life, something that was always a dream but not expected to become a reality. Today, due to continuing advances made by the CF foundation, dreams have become realities for so many. Thank you in advance for enabling this miracle. Can you continue ?
You see, not all the advances cover everyone who has this disease. Approximately 10% of individuals have mutations which are, so far, out of the scope of science. Real progress has been made but we cannot forget the unaffected individuals as we celebrate for others.
Thank you to all family, friends, and strangers who have donated to the fight against CF thorough out the years. We need to continue the fight until there is a cure for all.
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis and your support matters. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found. Please help me reach my fundraising goal!
