Join Barrett's Buddies and help add tomorrows to his life!
Welcome to Barrett's Buddies! We've been doing Great Strides for eleven years now as part of our commitment to helping our firstborn son, Barrett, live the best life he can with Cystic Fibrosis. He's been able to maintain a healthy BMI this year and has grown 2.5 more inches. He's almost 90 pounds! Despite the bizarre year of Covid-19 changes and restrictions, Bear has remained healthy. I switched back to home schooling this year as a preventative measure. Though many days I'm sure I'm going to lose my mind, it's been an unexpected pleasure to spend so much time together as a family. Only I (Jen) got Covid, and spent the better part of two weeks hiding in the guest bedroom or our walk in closet to avoid infecting anyone else. It worked! I am so grateful to God for keeping everyone else healthy!
This year, I'll be organizing several small group, outdoor activities to promote awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and help fund vital research towards a cure for this life threatening condition. Please join us either virtually or in person as we strive, as always, to make CF stand for Cure Found. Thank you for your generous support!
With Love and Gratitude,
Jennifer DuBos, Barrett's Buddies Team Leader
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for our nine year old son Barrett. Will you join us? To become a member of our team, just click on the "Join our Team" button. From there, you can make a donation and start fundraising.
By joining our team and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. We will not rest until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. Together, we can conquer this disease and give Barrett and others like him hope for a long, healthy life!
