Team Alec

Alec joined our family in 2009 and has been quite a character ever since. We are blessed to have him - he is smart, funny, athletic, and best of all, cares about other people. He is on a traveling soccer team and is a Bear Cub in our local Scout Pack here in Stevens Point, he loves to write, spinning Bey Blades everywhere he goes and adores Pokemon - he is many things, but unfortunately, Cystic Fibrosis Patient is among them. 

He has an amazing care team at the Marshfield Medical Center and as a team, we have kept our little buddy pretty darn healthy. He has not been without his struggles, however... including a couple of Hospital stays already. 

There is an increasing body of knowledge and research that has been developed over the past few decades, and in the past 5 years, many breakthroughs have been discovered, making it easier to dare to hope for a full, normal life for Alec. We have a ways to go though still... anything we can raise towards this continuing research can only help us to get where we need to go that much quicker.

To all of you who have grown to know Alec and who have help support us through these last 9 years - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO! You can help us even more to raise money at this up-coming Great Strides Walk in Marshfield, WI, either by participating and raising money yourself, or even donating some money to Team Alec to help us reach our Goal this year.
