This team is to honor Danielle Elzer our little fireball and her fighting spirit. I promised her I would keep her team going and her story alive. Dani lived 36 years with CF, longer than they expected for 1983. She had double lung transplant and a kidney transplant. She lived life with laughter and fun even up to the end. She had hoped that CF would've meant Cure Found eventually. She raised money and walked for herself and others, plus the future of CF. This year she would've turned 41 on August 24th.
If you are able to donate or join the team (you can walk in her honor virtually or Pgh May 18th - (I will be walking with City Girls Who Walk - Pittsburgh Division with my StarGazers shirt on) it would be greatly appreciated even if it is $5 in her name to carry on her name and story.
By joining our team and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. We will not rest until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. The time is now. Together, we can conquer this disease.
Great Strides is a fun event that provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together to make a difference in the lives of people with CF -- join our team today!
